Differential Disassembled (and put back)
«

Any tips, tricks or publications that can tell me the right and wrong ways to disassemble my Dana 44 on my 05 Unlimited Rubi would be greatly appreciated. BACKGROUND---I have diff fluid leaking out the passenger side when tilted that way. The axle seal will be here tomorrow. At least I think its the seal that needs replacing.

Half way down the page is a rear axle shaft showingthe bearing and seal and how to remove the retaining ring. I peronally have never done this but Stu sure has a lot of write-ups. Dave (who has done most of this work) can confirm.
